Dr. Grace is a 1983 graduate of UConn (B.S. Pathobiology, Magna Cum Laude, Degree with Distinction) and a 1988 graduate of Purdue University (D.V.M.). Dr. Grace has been a veterinarian at B.V.H. since 1994. For many years he was engaged primarily in the practice of emergency medicine and surgery, areas where he retains a strong interest. Dr. Grace most enjoys the challenges and rewards of seeing a large number of difficult cases in a practice that retains its practical ‘down to earth’ philosophy. Dr. Grace has served on many boards and commissions including The Connecticut Veterinary Medical Association Executive Board and Coventry School Building Committee. He is currently a board member of The New England Veterinary Medical Association and will be it’s President in 2022. His interests include running, cycling, and cross country skiing. His passion for athletics led him to become High School Cross Country and Middle School Track Coach for the Coventry Public Schools from 2000-2015. He has two dogs Daisy and Rosie who brighten every day and serve as personal reminders of the critical importance of companion animals in our lives.
